Lillie's Journey Home

Lillie is coming home. We will attempt to update it daily, but there are no promises! Please keep Lillie, Gill, and T. Walker in your thoughts and prayers.....and please say a little prayer for mom and dad who are on the frontlines of boy-rearing for three weeks. Also, check out the dropshots link on the right hand side of the blog for more photos.

Harmonious Period

The time from Gotcha time to officially pronouncing her as your adoptive daughter in China is called the Harmonious Period. Kinda funny when you think about it, since it is total chaos after they put her in your arms.
Today was the day to complete Lillie's adoption in China and start her real Harmonious time in life.
Lillie is doing well, a little runny nose, a little upset at times, but overall doing well. She has a temper....you can see it on the dropshots site.....
I think she is a genius also!! She also likes to shop and sleep. She fell asleep on the bus to the Civil Affairs office and then again after we left the notary's office, but popped up wide and alert at the shopping mall and Walmart. Lisa is way excited about that!!
Tomorrow , the circus moves to Guilin, where we await the Chinese passports and enjoy a beautiful spot in all of China, Guilin. Somebody felt like we were on Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
At home, the boys are well and there are new photos from the Glastad's, about Gill's 2 nd day at school!!
Anyway, time Tuesday, August 22, 2006

to put this up....we love the comments....keep them up!

Hey Lisa, Wade and Lillie B! We are so happy to see more photos. Will is sitting in my lap, studying them intently. Again, he says, "Hi, Lillie." Charlotte and I had a wonderful conversation this morning, and things seem to be going beautifully there. Across the planet, literally, the Dunn Family is happy and well! We look forward to your reports. Thank you for them. You remain in our every thought and our prayers. We love you all. S, J, and W
