Lillie's Journey Home

Lillie is coming home. We will attempt to update it daily, but there are no promises! Please keep Lillie, Gill, and T. Walker in your thoughts and prayers.....and please say a little prayer for mom and dad who are on the frontlines of boy-rearing for three weeks. Also, check out the dropshots link on the right hand side of the blog for more photos.

Gotcha Day

Lillie is beautiful. She had a long day, and has been adjusting. We had to wait for a the provincial head of the Chinese Governmental agency to show up and give a speech to us before we received the babies. The result was an hour wait across the hall from some tired babies and tired parents. The Director got his photo-op in and we finally got Lillie. She fell asleep within 20 minutes and then had to be awakened for the official picture. The result was a very unhappy, grieving baby! Very normal considering the circumstances of the day and the fact Lillie has been with a foster family since May, we found out last night. She was obviously loved and cared for, because she is grieving. She likes Lisa, except after her bath and then wouldn't look at her. She like me to walk her around. She doesn't necessarily want me, but cries when I leave the room. There is so much more to tell, but we need to get some sleep. Please pray Lillie gets through the grief quickly.
More photos tomorrow.
Thanks for all the comments...they help.
Sorry about the delay on the photos.....the internet here has slowed to a crawl and my Dropshots upload tool was somehow deleted from my computer....so we were a bit challenged here tonight. Later!!
